Meet the team
Skye is a freelance journalist specialising in human rights and politics, based in Scotland and currently studying at City of Glasgow College.
They are 18 years old, transgender, non-binary and pansexual.
They have lived experience of going through life as a transgender person and experiencing the hate accompanied by it. So they amplify the minority voice so they are heard and their experiences are respected.

Our Mission:
Empowering Change
I am passionate about amplifying the voices of minority groups, specifically the LGBTQ+ community and the trans community. My Site is dedicated to shedding light on important issues that impact our society and challenging perspectives. Through our content, we aim to spark critical thinking and foster a more informed and engaged community.
Diverse Perspectives
Delivering authentic and insightful content that brings attention to the diverse experiences and challenges faced by minority groups, while encouraging readers to engage critically with the world around them.
Integrity First
I am committed to upholding journalistic integrity by prioritizing accuracy, fairness, and transparency in my reporting and analysis of local issues and global events, especially those affecting minority communities.
Inspiring Change
Crafting compelling narratives that resonate with our audience, inspire action, and drive positive change in our local community, particularly in the fight against discrimination and injustice faced by minority groups.
Building Community
I am dedicated to building an inclusive community that values dialogue, respects diverse opinions, and seeks common ground for progress, unity, and support for minority groups.

Flora Irvine-Hall (She/her)
Journalist
Flora is a freelance journalist with key interests in culture and lifestyle.
She is a self-proclaimed film and television buff who loves to look at media through the queer lens.
Flora runs her own blog and YouTube channel, Not Another Final Girl, with content dedicated to horror. As well as being a writer for Queer Magazine, Flora also has bylines in publications such as City Live and Glasgow Culture.
Daniel Mackin (he/him)
Journalist
Daniel is an 18 year old writer, studying at City of Glasgow College who is interested in telling stories that reflect the lives of young people living in Scotland, specifically queer youth.
As a queer person from a small town, he know how isolating it can be to grow up without having an accurate depiction of topics that are personal and compelling to you be readily available.
This is why he believes now more than ever with all the harmful rhetoric around minorities in mainstream media, it is important we give those alienated in their thoughts an outlet where their voices are heard and validated.
